Child Care Worker

Description:Monday and Friday, 10 hour shifts.
7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Custodial and development care of children 2 months to 2 years at the Infant Center.
Duties:Responsible for overall classroom safety and leadership. Coordinates the care and education of young children by planning and executing a variety and balance of developmentally appropriate activities for infants and pediatric age groups. Maintains and uses equipment and materials in all outdoor/indoor learning center environments. Supports parents by establishing good rapport, positive methods of communication and mutual care practices for children. Performs duties according to the Scope of Service for Child Care. Adheres to and practices the SJMC Corporate Compliance Program. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
Qualifications:One year of documented experience working in a Child Care setting is preferred. Good communication, interpersonal, phone and customer service skills. CPR required within 30 days of hire.
