Facilities Administrative Assistant

Description:Reports to the director of facility support services/safety officer, assists with the daily operation of facilitiy operations and safety office. Daily operation activities include answering the phone for the facilities director/safety officer, directing correspondence, typing, and distribution of faxes. Other duties include arranging meetings, ordering supplies, preparing documentation of meetings as assigned,coordination of the maintenance program and assisting with the scheduling of work orders, and maintaining a filing system for the department, maintaining financial statements and preparing invoices for payment, other special projects as assigned.

Delivers services according to the Scope of Service for the Facilities department. Adheres to and practices the St. John's Hospital Corporate Compliance Program and participates in Performance Improvement activities.
Qualifications:High school graduate or equivelant and two years related work experience. Typing, organizational skills, people skills, and personal computer and or word processing experience required.
