|Description:||Front desk customer service. Face to face contact with patients. Answers phones, checking messages frequently, responding to request in a timely manner. Minimal release of information as requested. Filing loose paperwork received from the other units in the facility. Delivering charts that are needed for care. Sorting through loose paperwork that is sent or delivered to HIM on a daily basis. This position will be responsible to performs duties according to the Scope of Service for HIM and adheres to the practices of St. John's Medical Center Corporate Compliance Program. This position may also participates in Performance Improvement (PI) activities. This position will be required to perform all duties ensuring the confidentiality of the patients' information. |
|Qualifications:||Previous clerical experience of 2 years preferred. Basic computers skills preferred. Must be able to manage multiple tasks at one time. Ability to perform highly detailed work accurately and timely. Must possess effective and professional interpersonal, communication, customer service skills and effective problem solving skills.
